More than 50 % of EKO MB´s employees are disabled persons, hence, our company is legally authorised for offering substitute performance to its customers.
Substitute performance is governed by Act no. 435/2004 Coll.(the Employment Act), according to which all employers having more than 25 staff members are obliged to employ disabled persons (i.e. 4% of the total staff number). Those who do not employ the legally stipulated number of disabled persons, can comply with this obligation by buying/contracting products.
Those who do not employ the legally stipulated number of disabled persons can comply with this obligation by buying/contracting products and/or services from the companies that have more than 50% of disabled persons in its staff.
Consequently, the substitute performance can be regarded as an alternative in meeting this legal obligation.
